I am often asked the question about how I became a stockist for Chalk Paint™ decorative paint. A few months after Annie introduced this paint in the US, I came across her book Creating the French Look. I have collected her books for a number of years and was surprised to find one I had not yet seen. I did not anticipate that this book would be life-changing, but that, in fact, is what occurred after I read the book and learned about the Chalk Paint™.
I was intrigued, did some research on locating it, found a stockist and ordered Old White, Paris Grey, and Country Grey as well as the clear and dark waxes. I painted a small table with the Old White and Paris Grey, played with the waxes and then started thinking about becoming a stockist for this incredible product. The rest is history.
Now I am in the retail business selling Annie’s paints, waxes, and teaching workshops. I am also now able to indulge my love and passion for vintage and antique textiles as well as vintage furniture. Now I finally have a venue to offer these in my shop.
I will also offer small gift items as well as a beautiful selection of cards.
Annie Sloan will also be extending her line of products, and I will eagerly anticipate carrying these additional lines in the future in the form of home décor textiles, candles, and home fragrances.
